You may be interested to know that there is something out there called a 3D Pen if 3D modeling is your fun!
The name is kind of disappointing, so I wouldn’t call it a pen! Like a mini hot glue device, the filament(plastic) melts out of the heated tip of the pen. The user will create all sorts of never-before-possible 3D objects with this melting process! As the parent of a budding 3D maker, however, there are several aspects to bear in mind.
In comparison to a 3D printer, the good thing about a 3D pen is the amount of imagination that you can achieve. With little space for error due to the length of time printing can take, 3D printing demands accuracy and attention to detail. With a 3D Marker, you just scrap the piece and start again if you make a mistake! (For the artistic side, better known as debugging!) Some artists were able to create incredibly beautiful pieces using nothing but a handheld 3D Pen.
Did you know how important it is to teach your kids code with creativity? In everything from pattern recognition to critical thinking, ingenuity and imagination both play an enormous part. It’s not just a good idea to inspire your child coder(s) to imagine, develop, and try something different, it’s important for fostering the perseverance and problem-solving abilities that their brains will need later in life!
